Privacy & Terms

What I collect. If you fill in the form on this site, I receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, your student's year in school, and whatever you write in the message. If you book a time through the scheduler, I receive the name and email you enter there along with the appointment itself. I do not ask for your student's name, date of birth, grades, test scores, or any other detail about them through this website.

How I use it. To reply to you, to schedule and hold a conversation, and to keep track of enquiries so nothing gets lost. That is all. I do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a mailing list. There is no mailing list.

Who else touches it. A small number of service providers handle this information because the site and my practice run on their tools: the company that hosts this website, the service that delivers the contact form to me, the scheduling tool, and my email provider. Each of them holds it only to provide that service. If I later use software to manage client work, that will be added here before it starts.

Cookies and analytics. This site does not use advertising cookies and does not run retargeting or behavioural advertising of any kind. There is no analytics software on this site at all. If that ever changes, I will name the tool here and say whether it sets cookies. Embedded tools such as the scheduler may set their own cookies when you interact with them, under their own policies.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. This site does not track visitors across other websites, so there is nothing for that signal to change here, and it is not otherwise acted on.

Students and young people. This site is written for parents and guardians, and the form is intended for an adult to complete. I ask that students under eighteen not submit information through it directly. If a student's information reaches me through this website anyway, tell me and I will delete it.

Your choices. You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing info@findyourpathnc.com. I will do it, and I will confirm when it is done. You do not need a reason.

Changes to this page. If how I handle information changes, I will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.

About this site. Everything here is general information about my practice. It is not advice about a particular student, and reading it does not create a working relationship between us — that starts with a signed agreement. Nothing on this site promises any admission, scholarship, financial aid award, or other outcome, because no one can promise those.
